2 Children Found Dead In West Tucson House: Reports

Deputies were doing a welfare check on a home when they found two children dead inside with obvious trauma, reports say.

TUCSON, AZ — Two children were found dead in Tucson in a home int he city's west side on Thursday afternoon, according to reports. Deputies were responding to a welfare check at the home int he 2400 block of West Kessler Place when they found the children.

It was around 2:30 p.m. Thursday when the deputies found the children, according to KGUN. The two children showed signs of physical trauma.

AZFamily reported Deputy James Allerton as saying he did not know the children's ages or genders.

KGUN reported deputies as saying there's no current threat in the area.
