3 Hospitalized Following Shooting At Tucson Apartment Complex

A shooting at the Pebble Creek Apartments in Tucson and sent three to the hospital, police officials said Thursday.

TUCSON, AZ — Three men were hospitalized with non life threatening injuries following a shooting at a Tucson apartment complex, officials said.

The incident occurred at the Pebble Creek Apartments near Golf Links Road and Kolb Road in east Tucson Thursday.

A spokesman for the Tucson Police Department told Patch that the department was initially only told that shots had been fired.

"We since received a call from the field sergeant," Officer Frank Magos said. "We have three males with non-life threatening gunshot wounds that arrived to a near-by hospital related to this shooting."

Magos said detectives and crime scene investigators are currently piecing the events together at the front parking lot of the apartment complex.

No other details were available but an investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
