Arizona Cardinals Hide 'NFL 100' Footballs Statewide

This week, the Arizona Cardinals hide 100 special 'NFL 100' footballs statewide for fans to find in a scavenger hunt with prizes.

PHOENIX, AZ — This week, the Arizona Cardinals team is hiding 100 footballs designated "NFL 100" in undisclosed locations around Arizona. The scavenger-hunt game is part of the team’s “Surprise and Delight” campaign in commemoration of the NFL’s 100th anniversary.

The first group of footballs was hidden Monday, with the final footballs slated for hiding Friday.

Fans are searching for 97 standard footballs featuring a customized painted panel. The other three balls are gold and will garner their finders free tickets to the Cardinals/Raiders preseason home game Aug. 15. One gold-ball finder additionally wins 2019 season tickets.

All "hidden" footballs are visible and outdoors, at places such as landmarks, buildings, businesses or parks. Fans playing the game should check Cardinals social media channels for hints and a Google map link revealing football locations within a 100-foot range.

When fans find a football, the Cardinals encourage them to tell where it was found and to post photos on the Cardinals social media using #NFL100 and #Cardinals100.
