Arizona Sen. McSally’s Book ‘Dare to Fly’ Lands In Stores In 2020
Arizona Sen. Martha McSally's book "Dare to Fly" hits stores in 2020, melding "inspiring power" and "soulful honesty," the publisher says.

ARIZONA – Arizonans and anyone else who wants to get the inside scoop on Arizona Republican senator Martha McSally can do so, come May 2020, when her book aptly titled “Dare to Fly” is released. The book, written by the USAF's first combat-flying female fighter pilot, was announced Monday by HarperCollins Publisher’s William Morrow division, according to azcentral.com. The publisher’s website describes McSally’s book as melding “inspiring power” and “soulful honesty.”
“Dare to Fly” aims to show readers how to succeed when it doesn’t appear likely, and teaches how to "transform doubt" and "embrace fear." With several Afghanistan and Middle East deployments under her belt, McSally gave a Monday statement expressing her hope of inspiring women and men of all ages. “Like many others, I experienced tragedies and barriers in my own life that could have derailed me. But I was able to find strength and courage by taking risks, challenging stereotypes and daring to fly.”
McSally previously served in Congress for two terms, then endured a Senate race defeat in 2018. However, she was appointed by Arizona Governor Doug Ducey to fill the late Sen. John McCain’s Senate seat after his death.
