Arizona Teachers Walkout: Things To Do With The Kids in Tucson

With a teacher walkout scheduled to begin Thursday morning, parents are scrambling for things to do with the kids. Patch has some ideas.

TUCSON, AZ – On Thursday morning, parents around Arizona are going to wake up and wonder what to do with the kids. Teachers around the state are planning on walking out to protest low pay and inadequate funding for education.

While there is widespread support for the action, parents are still scrambling to figure out what to with the kids for the day.

They are also beginning to wonder what happens if the walkout goes on for more than one day.
