Press release from Barrio Charro:

July 28, 2021

Tucson, AZ---Barrio Charro will soon be serving up our delicious Torta Sandwiches, homemade cookies, and more at all University of AZ home football games, tailgates, and other game day events! Opened late last year during the brutal months of the pandemic, Barrio Charro has continued to win fans and happy guests by combining the bread making wizardry of Don Guerra of Barrio Bread fame along with the time-honored recipes of the El Charro and Si Charro! restaurant family.

Tortas such as the Rincon Relleno and Pueblo Quesabirria named after Tucson area neighborhoods as well as cookies made with Guerra’s Barrio Grain flour have gained cult-like following in the short time since they have been opened. Now those same great flavors and combinations will be featured at Arizona Stadium to enjoy while cheering on our Wildcats!

With this newfound business opportunity, changes are also coming to the hours of operation at Barrio Charro to allow for us to be better prepared to handle the volume demand of the new
U of A business, so effective Sunday August 1st:

The revised hours of operation (effective 8/1/21) will be:
Monday thru Friday 10am to 3pm and Saturday and Sunday 9am to 3pm
These hours will be for Dine In, Takeout and Delivery with Door Dash.

Barrio Charro will also be operating catering services for brunch, lunch, and dinner, but will only have their dining room open according to the hours above.
Barrio Charro is one of several Flores Concepts brands being installed in Arizona Stadium this season and we are an official caterer for Arizona Athletics and The Alumni Foundation.
