Chances Of Rain Roll Into Tucson With The Official Start Of Summer

Monsoon 2022 is upon us, with chances of rain and thunderstorms all week in Tucson, according to the National Weather Service.

TUCSON, AZ — The official start of summer and the beginning of this year's monsoon are bringing with them chances of rain in Tucson all week, according to the National Weather Service.

There was a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms Tuesday in Tucson, with continuing chances between 30-50 percent for the rest of the week.

The highest possibility of thunderstorms was on Thursday, the weather service predicted.

Highs for the week were expected to be around 100 degrees, with lows in the mid-70s.
