In a statement, the City of Tucson said police will be on site during the repairs to direct traffic in the intersections. Drivers are asked to mind all signage and the instructions of law enforcement officers and construction workers.
The city said flashing yellow arrows help minimize left-turn crashes. The arrows can also be turned red or green depending on the time of day, allowing or completely halting the flow of turning traffic.
