TUCSON, AZ — Tucson police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the suspect in a fatal hit-and-run crash on Tuesday night.

The crash, which occurred inside a crosswalk at Broadway Boulevard and Mountain View Avenue at 7:30 p.m., killed a 73-year-old woman that was crossing the street, police said.

The driver of the car fled the scene after hitting the pedestrian, who died at a nearby hospital, according to police.

Police identified the vehicle as a dark colored four-door sedan and said it was traveling west on Broadway Boulevard at the time of the crash.
