Fatal Road Rage In Tucson: Second Death In 1 Week

Tucson Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the people accused of shooting and killing a woman and injuring a man Tuesday.

TUCSON, AZ — Two people have died in road rage slayings in Tucson within the past week, according to police.

Savannah Narcaroti, 21, died Tuesday after being shot in midtown Tucson, police said in a news release. She and the man in the car with her at the time were both treated for gunshot wounds at Banner University Hospital. Narcaroti died shortly after arriving at the hospital, according to police.

Police are unsure how it started, but say that Narcaroti and the man with her were driving in the Midtown area of Tucson when either the driver or passenger on a motorcycle shot at them in the 3700 block of East Monte Vista Drive.

Tucson police hosted a press conference Wednesday morning to ask for the public's help identifying the people on the motorcycle. Anyone who recognizes them or the motorcycle is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.

Police are in the process of canvassing the area and already found some video footage of the motorcycle riders and the shooting.

The other road rage killing within the past week happened Oct. 13 when Louis James Gallardo, 53, was fatally stabbed on Interstate-10.
