ID Verified For Man Found Dead On S. Old Nogales Highway Ranch
Police have verified the identity of the man whose remains were found Aug. 14 on a ranch in the 12900 block of S. Old Nogales Highway.
TUCSON, AZ — The identity is now verified for the man whose remains were found Wednesday, Aug. 14 on a ranch in the 12900 block of S. Old Nogales Highway in Tucson. Officials from the Pima County Medical Examiner’s Office determined at the scene that the remains belonged to an adult male. Sunday, the Tucson Police Department released more details on the man, including that his ethnicity was likely Hispanic or Native American, in addition to photographic image representations and descriptions of his leg tattoos.
Today, the Tucson Police Department reported that an acquaintance of the victim has come forward after recognizing the tattoos on social media. Police then held multiple interviews and were able to identify the dead man as 29-year-old Romulo M. Bacarse.
