TUCSON, AZ — Cities across the country continue to bring back many of the traditional Independence Day activities that were either canceled or modified the last two years. July 4 is just around the corner, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.
We've gathered a list of all the Independence Day festivities going on near you so you don't have to.
The city of Tucson will not announce whether it will put on a fireworks show this year until June 21, according to city officials.

Let Freedom Sing
What: A patriotic musical performance.
Where: Arts Express Theatre, 5870 E. Broadway Boulevard in Tucson
When: Two daily shows at 5-7 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., July 2 and July 3, and one show from 7-9 p.m. July 4
Cost: $25

Star-Spangled Spectacular
What: Town of Marana annual event with a car show, games, splash pad and fireworks.
Where: Crossroads at Silverbell District Park, 7548 N. Silverbell Road in Tucson
When: 5-9:30 p.m., July 3, fireworks begin at 9 p.m.
Cost: Free
Spirit of America Celebration
What: Choir and orchestra concert with free sundae bar. You can bring your own picnic food, lawn chairs and blankets.
Where: Christ Community Church, 530 S. Pantano Road in Tucson
When: 6:30-8 p.m., July 3
Cost: Free
Salute to America
What: A patriotic musical show.
Where: Gaslight Theatre, 7010 E. Broadway in Tucson
When: 2-3:30 p.m., July 4
Cost: $18-$31
Sahuarita Stars and Stripes
What: Live music, a car show, beer and wine, food trucks and vendors.
Where: Sahuarita Town Hall, 375 W. Sahuarita Center Way in Sahuarita
When: 4:30-9 p.m., July 4; parade at 4:30 p.m.; laser show at 8:45 p.m. and fireworks at 9 p.m.
Cost: Free
July 4 Celebration
What: Music, food truck, bouncy castle, beer garden, games and a laser show instead of fireworks.
Where: James D. Kriegh Park, 23 W. Calle Concordia in Oro Valley
When: 5-9:15 p.m., July 4
