Man Arrested In Connection To Deadly Tucson Hit-And-Run: Police
The man is accused of leaving the scene of the March 5 crash. Police said they found the driver after identifying his car.
TUCSON, AZ — Tucson police have arrested a man in connection with a March 5 hit-and-run that left a pedestrian dead, according to police.
Lester David Flores, 40, was arrested Thursday morning and booked into the Pima County Jail on suspicion of hit-and-run involving a fatality. He was being held on $489 cash bail as of Thursday afternoon, according to online jail records.
The pedestrian killed in the crash was Thomas Joseph Lemburg, 54.

Around 9:30 p.m. March 5, Lemburg was running across Prince Road near the 1100 block, when he was hit in the curb lane by a white 2012 Chevy Malibu that police said they later connected to Flores.
Flores is then accused of fleeing the scene, according to police. Lemburg died at the scene, according to police.
