Man Charged With Murder In Tucson Shooting Monday Night

TUCSON, AZ — Torey Rashad Brown was charged with second-degree murder in connection with a shooting in Tucson Monday night, according to the Tucson Police Department.

Police accused Brown of shooting his roommate, Devon Dee Lewis, near the intersection of East 12th Street and Broadway Boulevard just after 5:30 p.m. Monday, police said. Lewis died of his injuries at a nearby hospital, police said.

Brown is in custody at the Pima County Jail, police said. Brown faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted.
