New Report Ranks Arizona’s 127 Best School Districts

Niche.com's latest K-12 rankings for 2019 are out.

Niche has ranked Arizona’s best school districts for 2019 and the Catalina Foothills Unified School District is the No.1 school district in the state.

The rankings were released this week by Niche as part of its 2019 K-12 rankings. Niche ranked a total of 127 school districts in Arizona.

The Chandler Unified District #80 in Chandler, the Vail Unified School District in Vail, Heritage Academy in Mesa and the Young Elementary School District in Young closed out the top five spots in the state.

You can see the full list of Arizona’s best school districts here.

According to Niche, the Jericho Union Free School District in Jericho, New York, is the best school district in the country overall. With an overall Niche grade of A+, the district received a grade of A+ in academics, teachers, clubs and activities, college prep and health and safety. In the category of diversity, Niche awarded the school district a B+.

To arrive at these rankings, Niche looked at data from the U.S. Department of Education as well as test scores, college data and ratings collected from Niche users. (You can read more about the methodology here.)
