New ‘Whiskey Roads’ Country Bar Opens In NW Tucson This Weekend
Whiskey Roads country nightclub opens this weekend in Tucson, with a grand opening featuring hometown favorite country singer Vince Moreno.

TUCSON, AZ — The new Whiskey Roads country bar/restaurant at 2265 W. Ina Road, former home of Romano’s Macaroni Grill, will be filled with hustle and bustle this Saturday, Aug. 3, at the restaurant/night club’s grand opening. “It’s going to be one of the biggest grand openings for a restaurant in Tucson,” Fernando Gomez, managing partner, told the Arizona Daily Star.
Thousands are expected to attend Saturday’s festivities, starting at 11 a.m. and going until 2 a.m. Sunday. Entertainment includes performances by Tucson hometown musicians Vince Moreno, who now resides in Nashville, and Duhamel “DJ Du” Cassell.
Meanwhile, a Whiskey Roads “soft opening” happens Friday, Aug. 2. Musical highlights include a 5 p.m. performance by country singer Charlie McNeal, with Tucson’s hometown Robert Moreno Band giving a 9 p.m. performance.

Eclectic food offerings include everything from spare-rib nachos to steak salad, classic onion rings to whiskey onion soup with French baguette, and much more.
Whiskey Roads will open daily at 11 a.m. Ages 21 and older after 10 p.m.
