Pedestrian Killed In Flowing Wells Identified By Tucson Police

Tucson police said a 63-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed on Friday night on Prince Road in Flowing Wells.

TUCSON, AZ — A 63-year-old pedestrian died after getting hit by a pickup truck while trying to cross Prince Road on Friday night.

The victim, who was identified by Tucson police as Frederic William Noad, was trying to cross Westbound Prince Road just after 10 p.m. on Friday when he was struck, police said.

The pickup truck driver stopped after hitting Noad and was not impaired at the time of the collision, authorities said.

No citations have been issued as of Monday morning for the collision, as it's believed that Noad crossed Prince Road mid-block, according to police.

Noad died on the scene, according to police, becoming the 14th traffic fatality of the year in Tucson.

Last year, a total of 17 traffic fatalities occurred in Tucson over a 12-month period, by comparison.
