Pima County Deputy Shot, In Critical Condition: Sheriff's Office
The Sheriff's Office is asking the public to avoid the area of Palo Verde Road and Julian Drive.
PIMA COUNTY, AZ — A Pima County Deputy sustained a gunshot wound Thursday afternoon and is in critical condition at a local hospital, according to the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
The shooting happened near the intersection of Palo Verde Road and Julian Drive, according to the department.
The department said in a news release that there was no danger to the public but did not provide any additional details as of early Thursday evening.
