Student From Tucson Earns University Dean's Distinction Award
A graduate of Tucson's Catalina Foothills High School has earned the Dean's Award with Distinction from Colgate University.

TUCSON, AZ – Emma Kosmeder, a graduate of Tucson's Catalina Foothills High School, has been awarded Colgate University's spring 2019 Dean's Award with Distinction. The award recognizes that Kosmeder earned a GPA of at least 3.6 while she finished three or more spring 2019 semester classes.
Colgate University, a private liberal arts college founded in 1819 and located in Hamilton, New York, has 25 Division I sports teams, nearly 3,000 students and offers 56 undergraduate majors. It also has a 9:1 faculty-to-student ratio and more than 200 student organizations and clubs. The educational institution's 200-year-old, 575-acre campus houses 88 buildings, 2,300 trees and 10 miles of walkways and roads.
