Tropical Storm Nora, Monsoon To Bring More Wet Weather To Tucson

A flash flood watch is in effect from Tuesday morning through early Thursday.

TUCSON, AZ — It's looking to be wet again this week, with some relief from the heat.

There is potential for rain most of this week, due to Monsoon weather Monday and Tuesday and owing to the remnants of Tropical Storm Nora Wednesday and Thursday, the National Weather Service reported.

While most of the United States has been focused on powerful Hurricane Ida, which hit Louisiana on Sunday, Tropical Storm Nora battered the western coast of Mexico and headed north with the potential to impact weather in the western United States. Nora was downgraded from a Hurricane to a tropical storm on Sunday.
