Tucson Crime Alert: Police Say This Man Assaulted Circle K Clerk
Police say around 10 p.m. Monday night, the man walked into the Circle K, started arguing with the clerk and then started assaulting him.

TUCSON, AZ – Take a good look at the man in the picture. Tucson Police say that he badly beat a clerk at the Circle K at 2 W. Valencia on Monday night.
It was around 10 p.m. and the man walked in and started arguing with the clerk.
Police say that during the argument he punched the clerk, then walked around the counter and kept bearing the clerk. When the clerk tried turn around, the man picked him and slammed him to the ground, head first.

The man then punched and kicked the clerk in the head several times before fleeing.

The clerk was hospitalized and is in critical but stable condition.
Police believe that the two men know each other.
They describe the suspect asa Hispanic man between 35 to 40 years old, standing about 5'08" to 5'10" tall, and weighing about 225 pounds.
He has a cross tattoo on his right forearm.
Police say that anyone with information is asked to call 88-CRIME and that callers can remain anonymous.
