Tucson Man Dies In Single-Car Crash: Police
A man died in a single-car crash near Fort Lowell Road and Dodge Boulevard early Monday morning, according to Tucson police.
TUCSON, AZ — Tucson police are investigating after a man died in a car crash early Monday morning, the department said.
According to the Tucson Police Department, the single-car crash occurred at the intersection of Fort Lowell Road and Dodge Boulevard. Sgt. Richard Gradillas, a spokesperson for the department, advised Tucsonians to avoid the area as the investigation continues.

The man involved was identified Tuesday as 29-year-old Johnny J. Rodriguez. Officials are still working to determine the cause of the crash, though Gradillas confirmed in a news release that excessive speed appeared to be a factor.
