Tucson Police Shoot Man Suspected Of Armed Robbery: Police
The man was hospitalized for life-threatening injuries following the Sunday shooting, according to police.
TUCSON, AZ — A man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries Sunday after being shot by Tucson police, according to a report from KOLD News 13.
The man who was shot was suspected of armed robbery at Best Buy on Broadway Boulevard, KGUN reported.
About an hour after the suspected robbery at Best Buy, police found the man near the intersection of Woodland and Broadway. When officers approached the man, there was an exchange of gunfire, according to police.

The man then ran behind CVS where more gunfire was exchanged between police and the man, police said.
The man was then taken to Carondolet St. Joseph's Hospital to be treated for his injuries, KGUN reported.

No police or members of the public were injured.
The Pima Regional Critical Incident Team is investigating the shooting.
