Tucson's 'Barrel Chested Bandit' Gets 10 Years In Prison
From August 2106 through the following February, Anthony Lane stole $74,000 from six states. He pleaded guilt to 11 counts of bank robbery.

TUCSON, AZ – For six months, he was the "Barrel Chested Bandit" based on the descriptions of witnesses. Shortly, he will receive the federal inmate number that will be his identification for the next ten years.
Anthony Lane James was sentenced to ten years in federal prison after pleading guilty to 11 counts of bank robbery and one count of attempted bank robbery.
Lane stole $74,000 from banks in Arizona, Colorado,New Mexico, Texas, and Utah between August 2016 and February 2017.
