Two Dead In Suspected Murder Suicide: Tucson Police

A man and a woman in their 70s were both found dead in a vehicle outside of a home on South Rose Peak, police said.

TUCSON, AZ — A woman and a man in their 70s are both dead in what Tucson police are calling an apparent murder-suicide.

Karen Parish, 73, and Wayne Hayes, 75, were both found dead on Sunday afternoon, according to police.

They were found with obvious gunshot wounds around 1 p.m. Sunday, in a vehicle parked at a house in the 2400 block of South Rose Peak, police said. They were both pronounced dead at the scene.

Police did not release any more details, but said they do not believe anyone else was involved in the shootings.
