🌱 Graduation Day + Yuma Students Compete In Vex Robotics Competition

Here are the top three stories today in Yuma:
- Senator James Lankford traveled to Yuma's US Border Patrol facilities to promote his newly introduced Reverse Entry for Migrant Offenders and Violence Expulsion (REMOVE) Act. The act is meant to close a loophole that would potentially allow noncitizens to remain in the United States after being convicted on sexual assault or kidnapping charges. Several other senators co-sponsored the bill. (James Lankford's Campaign)
- Yuma celebrated graduation day! Graduating students were recognized on Friday while receiving their newly awarded diplomas. Each school that had a graduation ceremony had Friday streamed the festivities online for friends and family that could not attend in person. (KYMA)
- The Yuma Homeschool Robotics Program competed in the Vex Robotics Competition. The event was held in Dallas, Texas at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. More than 36 different countries competed. The competition is meant to support science, engineering, and mathematical skills for students. (KYMA)
