TSA shares tips amid holiday travel rush at Clinton National Airport (fox16.com) — If you’re flying out of Little Rock’s Clinton National Airport this holiday season, expect bigger crowds and plan to arrive at least two hours early. TSA is boosting staffing, enforcing Real ID rules, and reminding travelers about security limits on liquids, wrapped gifts, and sharp items so your trip starts smoothly. 
2. New transitional housing for people living with HIV to open soon in Little Rock (arktimes.com) — A new transitional home for people living with HIV is opening on Scott Street in Little Rock’s SOMA neighborhood in February 2026, run by local nonprofit The Strilite Foundation. The House of Love will offer short-term housing and life-skills training for HIV-positive residents facing homelessness and unemployment, and the group is still seeking donated furnishings and supplies from the community.
3. LRSD board members pursue budget-friendly steps at final meeting of 2025 (arktimes.com) — Little Rock families should know the LRSD board just approved a major special education audit and named longtime educator Nathalie Coulter as the next principal at Roberts Elementary. Board members also reviewed shrinking fund balances and outlined plans to cut $12–15 million from the FY27 budget, potentially affecting staffing, programs, and services across the district.
4. Woman who purchased home in Baxter County with a fraudulent PPP loan sentenced to prison (ktlo.com) — A Little Rock businesswoman has been sentenced to 24 months in federal prison for fraudulently obtaining COVID-era relief loans and using the money for luxury purchases, including a Baxter County riverfront home. Prosecutors in Little Rock say she must repay more than $1.9 million and urge residents to report suspected pandemic relief fraud.
5. 19th AW showcases deployment capabilities in CRE 26-1 (af.mil) — Airmen at Little Rock Air Force Base recently wrapped up a multi‑week Combat Readiness Exercise that put the 19th Airlift Wing through round‑the‑clock deployment and wartime simulations. Crews processed hundreds of personnel and tons of cargo while training for chemical and base‑defense scenarios, and inspectors say the wing showed strong teamwork and readiness for future deployments.
