Two state parks in the Golden State made the top 10.

CALIFORNIA — America’s highest-rated state park is in California, according to a recent study.

Niagara Falls Tours & Tickets analyzed TripAdvisor data to determine which state parks had the highest average visitor ratings out of five stars.

Coming in at No. 1 was Humboldt Redwoods State Park in Weott. The park, which is roughly four hours north of San Francisco, boasts an average rating of 4.884 stars and offers activities such as a railbike tour and whitewater rafting trip.

Another Golden State park, Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park, which is even further north near Crescent City, just 16 miles from the Oregon border, ranked No. 7 with an average rating of 4.839.

“While most state parks across the U.S. have high ratings, these very top ones are so frequently rated as five star, that they can certainly be considered special,” Magdalena Petrusic, a travel expert from Niagara Falls Tours & Tickets, said in a news release.
