$2.9M Winning Mega Millions Ticket Sold In SoCal

BAKER, CA — A Mega Millions ticket worth nearly $3 million was sold in San Bernardino County.

As Patch previously reported, the jackpot for Tuesday night’s Mega Millions lottery game soared to $830 million, making it the fourth-largest lottery jackpot in U.S. history and the third-highest in the history of the game.

The winning numbers were 7-29-60-63-66. The Mega Ball number was 15 and the Megaplier number was 3x.

While no one hit the jackpot, a lucky player bought a ticket worth $2.9 million at Country Store in Baker, matching five of the six numbers, the lottery said in a Facebook post.

The winner won't be known until they come forward to claim their prize.
