National Cheeseburger Day 2025: Where To Score Steals & Deals In CA

Cheeseburger fans, rejoice!

A whole day dedicated to the ooey, gooey, beefy comfort food classic is upon us: National Cheeseburger Day. This year, it falls on Thursday, Sept. 18.

To help us celebrate, several restaurants throughout California are stepping up with special officer, meal deals and giveaways.

Here's a look at some of them:

Veggie Grill by Next Level: Buy-one-get-one American ChzBurgers, in-store only Thursday.

The Melt: The chain is giving away 1,000 free cheeseburgers to its Melt Rewards members.

Jack in the Box: The chain is offering several promotions. From Sept. 12-18 the Smashed Jack is $5. On Sept. 15, there's a buy-one-get-one Jr. Cheeseburger deal. And on Sept. 19 diners can get a free Jr. Cheeseburger with any purchase of $1 or more. All offers are available only through the Jack App.

Farmer Boys: Very Important Farmer loyalty members can get a Big Cheese Cheeseburger for $4.

Del Taco: Buy-one-get-one Double Del Cheeseburgers.

Mooyah: Loyalty members get a free cheeseburger with an in-app burger purchase.

Applebee's: Choose from the Classic Bacon Cheeseburger, Classic Cheeseburger or Classic Burger — with fries — for $8.99.

Smashburger : Any single burger is $4.99 with promo code BURGERDAY25.

Burger King: Royal Perks members get a free bacon cheeseburger with any purchase of $1 or more.

Dairy Queen: DQ Rewards members get a free Double Original Cheeseburger Signature Stackburger with any purchase of $1 or more Sept. 15-19.
