As the omicron variant spreads quickly around the country, Agoura Hills saw over 100 new cases in just a week.

AGOURA HILLS, CA — As the omicron variant quickly spreads throughout the county, Agoura Hills saw a massive spike in COVID-19 cases this week.

Agoura Hills had 1,766 confirmed cases of coronavirus as of Tuesday, 137 more cases than just a week before, according to Los Angeles County Public Health data.

This rapid spread is especially stark considering 82.3 percent of Agoura Hills residents age five and over have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
