• Agoura Animal Shelter Pet of the Week, Meet Princess: Thursday, December 18 (malibutimes.com) — An Agoura Hills animal shelter is spotlighting Princess, an 11½-year-old cattle dog who needs a calm, adults-only home nearby. Residents can meet her at the Agoura Animal Care Center on Agoura Road during weekday and Saturday hours, and consider giving this shy but affectionate senior pup a peaceful place to spend her golden years.
   

• Film fest pivots from Agoura Hills and Calabasas to T.O. (mpacorn.com) — Agoura Hills moviegoers will see Malibu Film Society’s awards-season screenings shift from now-demolished local theaters to the AMC Dine-In Thousand Oaks 14, though the group’s events remain open to the public. The new Thousand Oaks venue will host a series of acclaimed films starting Dec. 20, with low-cost tickets and free popcorn and soft drinks for attendees.
