Agoura Hills Suspected Bank Robber Sought

The suspect is described as a black man, between 40 and 45 years old, 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing about 250 pounds, with brown eyes.

AGOURA HILLS, CA -- Authorities this week are asking for the public's help in identifying an Agoura Hills bank robbery suspect.

The alleged robbery happened just before 1 p.m. on Jan. 20 when the suspect walked into a Bank of America branch in the 5600 block of Kanan Road and passed a note to the teller demanding money, Los Angeles County sheriff's Deputy Trina Schrader said.

"In fear for his life, the teller gave the suspect money from the cash drawer," she said.

The suspect then left through the main entry doors and fled in an unknown direction, Schrader said. No vehicle was seen.

The suspect is described as a black man, between 40 and 45 years old, 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing about 250 pounds, with brown eyes.

Anyone with information about the suspect was urged to call the sheriff's Major Crimes Bureau at (562) 946-7893.
