Annual Fourth of July Parade Offered 'Homespun' Patriotism

This year's 5th annual Liberty Canyon Fourth of July parade drew a variety of patriotic participants.

"The simple, homespun affair embodies the spirit of the American neighborhood," said Sheena Stephens, co-founder of the event.

They arrived on foot, on bicycles, in wagons, even in an Army jeep.

"[The] vintage Army Jeep was apparently used in France and Germany during WWII," Stephens said.

Stephens estimates that approximately 300 people turned out this year.
