Brr! Overnight Low Brings Frost To Agoura Hills
A frost warning for the San Fernando Valley was set to expire Tuesday, but overnight lows remain very cold all week.
AGOURA HILLS, CA — Residents in Agoura Hills and a wide swath of the San Fernando Valley awoke to frost on their lawns and windshields thanks to unusually cold overnight lows.
A frost warning in effect for the region was expected to last until Tuesday afternoon, and a slight warming trend is forecast for the rest of the week. As a cold, wet storm moves out of the region, overnight lows are expected to warm up to just above freezing in Agoura Hills, hovering in the mid-30s, according to the National Weather Service.
The overnight lows remain quite chilly, and residents are urged to bring pets inside and protect plants susceptible to frost.
