Cafe Bizou Among 100 Most Romantic Restaurants In America: Study

AGOURA HILLS, CA — If you're in search of a place to spend a night out this Valentine's Day, look no further — an Agoura Hills restaurant has been named one of the most romantic restaurants in the country.

Restaurant reservation company OpenTable analyzed more than 12.4 million diner reviews to come up with a list of the 100 most romantic restaurants in the country, and Agoura Hills' Cafe Bizou is among them.

OpenTable describes Cafe Bizou as "the perfect setting" for a range of events from business meetings to wedding rehearsal dinners. The menu offers French cuisine a la carte or via a $25 three course fixed menu.

Cafe Bizou's most popular dishes are escargots, flourless chocolate cake and bread pudding, according to OpenTable.

Cafe Bizou had only one reservation left at 9:15 p.m. on Valentine's Day as of Thursday evening. Although Cafe Bizou is normally closed on Mondays, the restaurant will be open for in-person dining from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Valentine's Day.

The Agoura Hills spot is one of 11 California eateries to make the list, along with nearby Ca Del Sole in North Hollywood and Musso & Frank Grill in Los Angeles.

"Our data suggests that Valentine's Day dining is rebounding this year, with reservations up 30% nationwide compared to last year," said Susan Lee, Chief Growth Officer at OpenTable. "We're excited to see this momentum leading up to what has traditionally been one of the biggest dining days of the year for restaurants."
