Canwood Street Improvement Construction Schedule for Next Two Weeks

Construction Schedule: June 10-June 21

Week of June 10th - Reconstruction of pavement section on the south side of Canwood, between Forest Cove and Strawberry Hill, continues. Traffic Detour continues to be in place. Additional areas of sidewalk will be removed and replaced towards the end of the week.

Week of June 17th - Roadway widening east of Fire Station will begin.

Please be aware that the following traffic controls will be expected for the Canwood Street Improvements project (Please see photo).

Phase 1a/1b is expected to be in place from the first week of May until early June. Eastbound traffic will be closed from Forest Cove to Strawberry Hill and a detour will be in place.

Phase 2a/2b is expected to be in place during the 1st week of June. Expect traffic to be controlled by flaggers during working hours. Both lanes of traffic will be open after working hours.

Phase 3, 4 and 5 is expected to be in place from Mid-June to Early July. Expect traffic to be controlled by flaggers during working hours. Both lanes of traffic will be open after working hours.
