The City shares in the community’s sentiments regarding the recent loss of the Stage Door Theater. As much as we wish the structure could have remained, the law simply had no protections the City could lean on to save it. That said, the City felt immediate action was necessary to guarantee the Agoura sign at the corner of the property was untouched and preserved.
Therefore, the City removed the sign this morning and temporarily stored it in a safe place, until further discussion can occur and public input can be gathered to determine the final location of the sign.
