Dole Great Race: Expect Road Closures In Agoura Hills
Agoura Hills on Saturday will house the 37th annual Dole Great Race, hosting runners for six different race lengths.

AGOURA HILLS, CA — Runners will zoom through Agoura Hills on Saturday for the 37th annual Dole Great Race, which will cause some traffic blocks throughout the city.
Each year, Agoura Hills hosts six different races: two half marathons, a 15K, a 10K, a 5K, and a mile long run. All the races will show off scenic views of Agoura Hills, looping through canyons, Old Agoura, Chumash Park and more.
The Great Race will feature fun events for all Agoura Hills residents and visitors. All the races are followed with an epic after party with food, live music and shopping, according to the Great Race's website.

Road closures and lane and parking restrictions will last from 5 a.m. until around 11 a.m. at some sites. Motorists are advised to allow 15 extra minutes for their drives on Saturday, according to the Great Race's website. Check the Great Race's website for a full list of road restrictions.
Olympian and Agoura High School grad Deena Kastor will be running on Saturday; Kastor grew up running the Great Race and has a 5K race named after her at this year's event, according to the Great Race's website.

In classic Los Angeles style, Kastor will likely be joined by other celebrities. Celebrities like actor James Marsden, former "Bachelor" Andy Baldwin and Olympian Rod Dixon have made appearances at past Great Races.
