Expect Agoura Hills Road Closures For Wildlife Crossing Event Friday
The long-awaited Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing breaks ground Friday, which will prompt significant road closures in Agoura Hills.

AGOURA HILLS, CA — The much-anticipated Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing will break ground on Friday, causing some traffic obstructions in Agoura Hills.
The Liberty Canyon onramp and offramp of the state Route 101, Ventura Freeway, will be completely closed from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the event, according to California Department of Transportation.
Motorists should also expect heavy pedestrian traffic Motorists are advised to avoid the area or allow for extra time if they must travel through the area.

"If you're not coming to the event try to avoid that area for at least a couple hours," Acting Captain of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Lost Hills Station Joseph Fender said at Tuesday's Las Virgenes-Malibu Council of Governments meeting. He added: "If you want to come I suggest you come early."
