John Stamos Fundraises To Help Sheriff's Recruits Struck By Car
"Full House" star John Stamos joined forces with the Lost Hills Station to help raise money for LASD recruits injured in a Whittier crash.

AGOURA HILLS, CA — "Full House" star John Stamos teamed up with local authorities for a charity event in Agoura Hills to benefit deputies injured in a Whittier crash.
A wrong-way driver on Nov. 16 hit a large number of Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and police recruits on a run. Some 25 people were injured, some of whom remain in the hospital in critical condition, according to LASD's Lost Hills Station.
Stamos and "Days of Our Lives" star Kyle Lowder hosted a charity event last week at the Agoura Hills Canyon Club that raised nearly $100,000, according to the Lost Hills station.

"Although several recruits are still hospitalized and in critical condition, the support we have received from our communities is awe inspiring," the Lost Hills station said in an Instagram post.
The Gary Sinise Foundation and The Los Angeles Sheriff's Foundation made significant contributions, according to the department.

The crash resulted in at least five critical injuries, authorities said after the crash. Around 75 recruits were running in formation that morning.
