The president of Malibu Pet Companions will be honored in the fall for her work with homeless pets at the Agoura Animal Shelter.

Robin Kahrs of Malibu Pet Campions will receive the honor on Saturday, Sept. 7 at the Bless the Beasts & the Children event at a private Malibu estate, according to organizers.

“Malibu Pet Companions is called upon almost daily to help animals in need of medical attention,” said Lois Koch, Secretary of Malibu Pet Companions.

The event will raise money for local and international service projects benefitting children, as well as the medical care for the sick and injured homeless pets at the Agoura Animal Shelter.

Kahrs leads a team of volunteers who take sick and injured animals to private vet visits, foster animals in their homes and provide love and care to animals housed at the shelter.

Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are $100. For tickets or more information, please call (818) 483.4228 or visit http://events.rcwh.org.
