4. Getty Villa Garden Tour
Escape the heat and tour the four Roman gardens at the Getty Villa (17985 Pacific Coast Hwy., Pacific Palisades) in 40 minutes. The tour meets at the "Tour Meeting Place" outside the museum entrance. 5. Archaeological Investigations at the Ancient Port of Sinop, Turkey
The Calabasas Library is presenting Archaeological Investigations at the Ancient Port of Sinop, Turkey by Dr. Owen Doonan at 6:30 p.m. Professor Doonan, Professor of Art at CSU Northridge, will speak on previous research in Sinop and on an exciting new excavation in the heart of the ancient city, proposed to start in the summer of 2013.
