Rob And Michele Reiner's Death Certificates Released

LOS ANGELES, CA — The death certificates of Rob and Michele Reiner were released on Tuesday and published online by TMZ.

The documents reveal that the couple were cremated Friday at Mount Sinai Mortuary in Los Angeles following their deaths on Dec. 14. Their final resting place is listed as the home of their son, Jack Reiner.

The couple were found stabbed to death in their Brentwood home; their son Nick Reiner was arrested hours later on suspicion of their murder, according to prosectors.

The death certificates describes that Rob and Michele Reiner were both killed "with knife, by another."

That matches with the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office's initial findings, released last week. The office listed the primary cause of death for both Rob and Michele Reiner as "multiple sharp force injuries."

Nick Reiner is charged with two counts of first degree murder with the special circumstance of multiple murders, as well as an additional special allegation that Reiner used a dangerous and deadly weapon in the crimes: a knife, according to prosecutors.

Reiner made his first court appearance last week. He has not entered a plea: His arraignment was postponed until Jan. 7.
