2. Reyes Adobe Historical Site Tours

Tour the Reyes Adobe Historical Site. Admission is free, but suggested donations for the tour are: adults, $3; Seniors, $2; children 5-12, $1.

3. Kids Club at Sagebrush Cantina in Calabasas

The cantina offers a kids-eat-free special: one free child’s meal with every adult entrée ordered or a $5 kid’s special meal with drink may be purchased for 10 and under. Kid’s Club runs from 4:30 – 7:30 pm with gym and special activities from 4-6 p.m., followed by a featured show from 6-6:30 p.m. and a kids disco 7-7.30 p.m.

5. Punished: Policing the Lives of Black and Latino Boys/Cal Lutheran

Victor Rios, an associate professor of sociology at the University of California, Santa Barbara, will present his research on juvenile justice, masculinity, race and crime. He has published widely in these areas, including the 2011 book Punished: Policing the Lives of Black and Latino Boys. The event takes place at 7 p.m. at Cal Lutheran University (60 W Olsen Rd, Thousand Oaks). Admission is free.
