More Worried About Traffic than Crime

A recent survey found that Angelenos are more worried about traffic than crime.


A new survey shows that those who use the Los Angeles freeways are more concerned about traffic than crime.

The USC Dornsife/Los Angeles Times poll of 1,500 adults living in L.A. County indicated that Southern Californians’ reliance on their vehicle—and the speed at which it is taking them—is foremost on their minds.

According to the study of what we worry about, 55 percent of respondents included traffic and congestion, 35 percent crime, 31 percent making ends meet, and 31 percent unaffordable housing.

Despite those concerns 60 percent of people had positive expressions about the quality of life.
