Multi-Vehicle Collision Prompts Sig Alert On 101 Freeway

AGOURA HILLS, CA — A multi-vehicle collision shut all lanes on the state Route 101, Ventura Freeway, in Agoura Hills Tuesday morning.

The crash was reported just before 9 a.m. on the southbound state Route 101 at Liberty Canyon Road, according to California Highway Patrol. All lanes were initially shut but one lane reopened around 9:52 a.m.

It was not immediately clear if there were injuries. The collision involved multiple cars.

There was significant traffic Tuesday morning on the southbound 101 Freeway from Reyes Adobe Road to Liberty Canyon Road. The northbound freeway was also backed up from Lost Hills Road to Liberty Canyon Road.
