OXNARD, CA — A single-engine plane crashed in Oxnard on Sunday afternoon, according to police.

The crash occurred on the 500 block of South Ventura Road, which authorities have shut down in both directions between Second and Fifth Streets, according to the Oxnard Police Department.

Both Oxnard police and the Oxnard Fire Department are responding to the crash, police said.
