Planned Power Outages for Next Week

From Monday, March 18 through Wednesday, March 20, Southern California Edison will be performing maintenance on the electrical system in the area between the hours of 9 a.m and 5 p.m. In order to perform this work safely, SCE must temporarily interrupt electric service and turn off power, according to the City of Agoura Hills website.

This outage will allow SCE to upgrade aging infrastructure, make needed improvements and complete other repairs, the site reports.

According to the website:

The power may be off for the whole period or may be turned off more than once. This planned outage may not begin exactly at the stated start time, and some conditions may cause this planned outage to be postponed. The times noted are SCE's best estimate and circumstances may affect both the start time and the completion time indicated above.

WHEN: Tuesday, March 19, 12-5 p.m.

WHERE: 28000 Blk of Bardell Drive/Hollowbrook Ave., and 5900 Blk of Carell Ave., Agoura Hills, CA

WHEN: Wednesday, March 20, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
