Sharky's Fundraiser Will Benefit Inclusive Park In Westlake Village
Just by grabbing a burrito or tacos at Sharky's, locals will contribute to building an inclusive playground in Agoura Hills.

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA — This weekend, your quick Sharky's lunch could make a difference in the community.
From 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sharky's will donate a portion of its sales to help build an inclusive playground at Morrison Park, an ongoing project to bring equipment for children of all abilities to the park.
Patrons can visit in-person at 111 S Westlake Blvd or order online to participate in the fundraiser. In person, mention the fundraiser or show the flyer below to have your order count toward the fundraiser. Online participants can use the code ROTARY WLV at checkout. 20 percent of all sales using the flyer or code will go directly to the project.

As it stands, Morrison Park is not designed to work for children with disabilities, according to the project.
"Our goal is to create an inclusive play space where children of ALL abilities can play together. Every child deserves to play! Playgrounds are so important for community connection and child development. The current playground configuration at Morrison Park is not designed for children with disabilities," organizers wrote on the Morrison Park Playground's website.

The inclusive playground project has already raised over $68,000 of its $500,000 goal through partnerships and fundraising efforts like a similar restaurant promotion at The Stand in August. The project's partners include the city of Agoura Hills, Rotary Club of Westlake Village, Landscape Structures and RecWest Outdoor Structures Inc.
